Prahova Valley is one of the most visited areas of Romania. It has everything that a tourist needs; a touch of history, a touch of art, and a lot of entertainment for all ages and tastes. From the famous medieval Bran Castle – The one and only known for all Dracula legends – to the luxuriant Peles Castle, the home of the royal family of Romania, you’ll get to spoil yourself with plenty of fine memories after this tour.
We leave Bucharest in the morning from our starting point and drive to Sinaia. In approximately 2 hours we arrive at the Royal Castle named Peles. This Neo-Renaissance castle is the former residence of the Royal Family of Romania and was built between 1875 and 1914 by King Carol I.
The next stop is at the famous Dracula Castle in Bran at the border of Transylvania and Wallachia. You will have at least one hour for every castle and you’ll learn from your certified guide about the extraordinary history of this land and the geographical location.
In the middle of the day, we will head to a local restaurant for a traditional Romanian lunch.
