Sightseeing of the port surroundings, including the Port Museum, Ex-Casino (under reconstruction), the Genovese Lighthouse, and on the way to Adamclisi village, where a great monument was built at the order of Trajanus, the Emperor, was erected in 109 AD.
First, you will visit the renovated monument, which shows scenes from the clashes between the Roman Legions and the native Dacians. A ten-minute drive and you will visit the Museum of the monument, where actual artifacts of the monuments are exhibited, and a panoramic view of the fortress will round up the image of the Roman Conquest.
