Escape to a real-life fairytale this holiday season at the magical Sibiu Christmas Market!

Located in the heart of Transylvania's medieval Grand Square (Piața Mare), this market is a winter wonderland come to life. Bundle up and browse dozens of charming wooden stalls, sip on warm mulled wine, and feel the festive cheer under a canopy of twinkling lights.

The centerpiece of the festivities is the Grand Square (Piața Mare), where historic, centuries-old buildings are draped in sparkling lights. Grab a cup of vin fiert (mulled wine) and wander among the beautifully decorated wooden huts, which are filled with traditional Romanian delights and unique artisan gifts.

For 13 years in a row, the Sibiu Christmas Market brings about a festive atmosphere all around the market square. The most important fair in the country, the Sibiu Christmas Market, will be held in the very central spot of the city.
